Weddings
At Church by the Bridge, we rejoice in God’s gift of marriage. For those planning to marry, we offer a four-week marriage preparation course (see Marriage Preparation), together with guidance in planning the wedding service. Our desire is to build a relationship with the couples we marry - so we encourage people who do not yet attend our church to meet with other members of church on a more regular basis.
If you are interested in getting married at Church by the Bridge, we suggest you complete the Wedding Application form.
Please note the following:
- the church can accommodate a maximum of 200 people, although 140 is a more comfortable fit.
- we have church services on Saturday nights and throughout the day on Sundays. For this reason, no weddings can take place at the church on Sundays. The latest a wedding can commence on Saturday is 2pm, concluding no later than 3pm.
- alcohol is not permitted to be served anywhere on the church property.
