Carols under the Bridge 2014
Celebrate the birth of Jesus this Christmas in one of Sydney's most spectacular locations!
For the tenth year running Church by the Bridge will host one of Sydney's biggest carols services on Saturday 13 December 2014 at Bradfield Park, Kirribilli. Everyone is invited to join in the community festival:
5:00pm: enjoy jazz with the Dave Halls Band, kids Christmas face-painting and activities
7:30pm: Christmas carols concert
Best of all, it's free! Just bring a rug, your finest voice and your friends and family.
Our event charity partner Anglicare will be running a stall and selling candles to raise funds for their Christmas appeal.
Planning your picnic rug guests?
Excellent! An easy way to invite people is to Like and Share our Facebook event
Like last year there will be plenty of food to purchase at Carols, supplied by our trusty food stall vendors. From coffee to Turkish gozleme to fairy floss and more, there is something delicious for everyone.
Food vendors will be selling from 5pm, so there is no need to pack a picnic if you'd rather spend the time getting there to listen to the jazz and enjoy the view!
Please note: while care is taken by our food vendors, as with any public food market serious food allergies cannot be catered for.
What is the best way of getting to Carols?
Given we are expecting around 5,000 people, we highly recommend you catch public transport to Carols under the Bridge. Car parking will be very limited.
The nearest train station is Milsons Point, just 200m from Bradfield Park. Buses on various routes stop at Milsons Point station on both Alfred and Broughton Streets.
For routes and timetable information, please call the NSW Transport Infoline on 131 500, or plan your travel on their comprehensive website: www.131500.com.au
What if it rains?
If it is raining in the morning of Carols, we may still go ahead, so come along!
In the event of severely inclement weather, the final call to cancel will be announced by 4pm on Facebook
We look forward to seeing you at Carols under the Bridge!
A big thank you to our sponsors - Anglicare, our Event Charity Partner and the Mosman Daily, our Media Partner.
